Aralia plants are known for their distinctive, large, glossy leaves and attractive, bushy growth. They can be used as indoor houseplants or in shaded part of garden. They can not bear direct sunlight.
Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate some low light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light may cause leggy growth.
Watering:
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. In winter, reduce watering as the plant's growth slows.
Soil:
Well-draining, rich, and slightly acidic soil. A mix of potting soil with perlite or sand for added drainage works well.
Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilizing during fall and winter.
