Chamaedorea Palm is a charming popular and elegant indoor plant, admired for its lush, feathery fronds and compact growth habit. It’s native to the rainforests of Central and South America and belongs to the Arecaceae family.
Light Requirements:
Prefers bright, indirect light Tolerates low light, making it ideal for offices and dim corners Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves
Watering:
Water when the top 2–4 cm of soil is dry Keep the soil evenly moist, but not soggy
Temperature & Humidity:
Thrives in temperatures between 18–27°C Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature drops Likes moderate to high humidity (occasional misting helps)
Soil & Fertilizing:
Use a well-draining potting mix, such as one for indoor tropical plants Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer
